Nintai Capital is a Hong Kong-based family office investing in global equity markets, with a primary focus on Japan.

Our name draws from the Japanese concept of “nintai” (忍耐) — patience, endurance, and the discipline to see beyond short-term noise. We believe this philosophy is essential for generating sustainable long-term returns in public markets.

Our Research Philosophy

• Deep fundamental analysis — We read financial statements, conduct industry research, and build financial models. We do not trade on headlines or momentum.
• Thematic conviction — We identify long-term structural trends (AI infrastructure, semiconductor supply chains, industrial automation) and find the companies best positioned to benefit, particularly in Japan where corporate governance reforms are unlocking value.
• Margin of safety — We invest where the price does not fully reflect the underlying value. Patience allows us to wait for the intrinsic value to speak for itself.

Japan represents one of the most compelling equity markets in the world today. Corporate governance reforms under the Tokyo Stock Exchange, a weak yen driving export competitiveness, and structural shifts in semiconductor and manufacturing supply chains are creating opportunities that we believe are underappreciated by global investors. Our research is concentrated on identifying companies with durable competitive advantages, strong balance sheets, and aligned management teams.
